Problem with D2L Notifications UPDATED
It recently came to our attention that there was a problem with automatic emails being sent from D2L (specifically Intelligent Agents and Notifications). The problem was first reported at approximately 3:00 Friday afternoon.
It was found that Intelligent Agents and Notifications stopped being sent Wednesday, September18th, sometime after 3:30pm. The SMTP service was restarted Friday at about 4:15pm and new Intelligent Agents and Notifications appear to be going out correctly. Queued messages were sent, but may not have been delivered as of 5:00 pm Friday.

We always appreciate reports of this nature. Often it is difficult to determine a problem is occurring until it is reported by the Faculty and Staff using D2L in their courses. Additionally every report we receive gives us more information and brings us closer to finding a resolution as quickly as possible.
