PeopleSoft Production Environment Outage
The PeopleSoft Production environment, which is accessed thru TitanAdmin and TitanWeb, will be down this weekend from 2:00 am Satruday morning thru 7:00 am Monday morning. The database/batch server for it is being upgraded.
D2L Upgrade Information
This is a reminder that D2L will be unavailable from 10:00 PM on June 28th to 10:00 AM on June 29th. During this time, D2L will be upgraded to the most recent version (v.10).
Time Table for NetID Migration
As part of the move of email and calendar to Titan Apps, any campus services which currently use your email username and password will be changing to use the UW Oshkosh NetID. NetID is already being used for logging in to the Windows and Mac OS 10.7 desktop and laptop computers on campus.

Madison reports that D2L services are currently off-line. There is no esimate at this time when services will return. This News Item will be updated as soon as more information is available.

S and U drive access issues has returned
Also, in some cases, logging on to the computer itself is failing or taking 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Our staff is continuing to investigate and resolve these issues. Thank you for your patience and please understand that this is our top concern at this time.
S and U Drive Access has been restored.
S and U Drive Access is Off-Line
We are experiencing a temporary outage for both the S (Shared) and U drives. Although there is reports of some who still can access the U Drive. Our staff are currently investigating the cause and will restore this service as quickly as possible.
The S Drive (Shared) will be off-line Tuesday March 27th.
Outage will be for about 10 minutes sometime after 4:30 PM
Change to network security may affect Remote Desktop Users
In response to a known security threat, the campus networking staff have blocked off-campus access to Windows workstations running Remote Desktop.
ACUG report recommends migrating email and calendar system to Google Apps
The report states that Google Apps will provide our students, faculty and staff with the best email, calendar and web collaboration tools available.
New Help Desk Ticketing System Purchase Approved
BMC's Numara Footprints Help Desk Management System has been chosen to replace the Magic ServiceDesk Help Desk ticketing system.
The Oshkosh Public Library's website is no longer being blocked.
The issue has been resolved.
