The University provides free training for persons designing University web pages. Training sessions are 4 hours long, and include techniques for designing accessible pages and time to practice accessible techniques with assistance from the trainer.
This training session will teach you everything you need to know to bring your departmental or personal pages up to the new standard. Topics include stylesheets, alternative textual representations, proper use of tables and frames, and other techniques for creating an accessible page. The one hour instructional session will be followed by workshop time, where University staff will be available to assist you in the conversion of your pages.
