Lawton Undergraduate Minority Retention Grant (Lawton Grant)

Full-time minority students are eligible for up to $4,000 per academic year and a maximum of $16,000.

LGBTQ Scholarship

Students must identify as LGBTQ+ and are either (1) enrolled at UW Oshkosh and are in good academic standing, with at least one semester remaining before graduation, or (2) enrolled in a public or private high school scheduled to graduate in the spring.

AAUW Scholarship

The National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) (https://www.nccwsl.org/) is an annual leadership conference put on by AAUW.  AAUW Oshkosh and the UW Oshkosh Women's Center fund one student each year to attend the conference.

The following are the requirements for the scholarship:

  • Students must be returning to UW Oshkosh the following semester after the conference so they are able to utilize the skills learned to further their student leadership
  • Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • A commitment to advancing women's rights via community service, research, or activism more broadly defined
  • A commitment to attend the NCCWSL conference and active participation in the leadership planning committee
  • Prior to application, applicants must become an affiliate member of the AAUW (affiliate membership is FREE to UW Oshkosh students; see aauw.org/membership for more information
