Faculty and Staff Inclusive Excellence Workshop

Held in Spring and Fall

Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence presents “Inclusive Excellence:  The Margin of Success in Higher Education” which is a three-hour interactive workshop designed to assist participants in uncovering their unconscious biases.  


Student Development Workshop

Spring Workshop is being rescheduled

Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence is offering an interactive Inclusive Excellence workshop designed to help students work and live in a global society.  Registration is limited to the first 20 people.  Please complete the following Implicit Bias Association tests online:  Sexuality, Race and Native American.  Print two copies and bring your results to the workshop.  Each test will take ten minutes.  


Inclusive Excellence Pedagogy Workshop

Held Annually in May

Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence is offering an Inclusive Excellence Pedagogy Workshop in May which is designed to equip faculty with Inclusive Excellence Pedagogy to teach a diverse student body. This workshop is offered in collaboration with the Center for Excellence, Teaching and Learning. Watch for registration details.


S.A.F.E. Training

Help make the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh a safer and more welcoming place for the LGBTQ+ community by participating in S.A.F.E. Training (Students, Staff and Faculty for Equality). Participants take part in a three hour interactive workshop designed to introduce you to LGBTQ+ terms, culture, some of the challenges that many LGBTQ+ people encounter in their lives, and how to be an effective ally both in and out of the classroom.
