Student Support Services (SSS)
Student Support Services Website
Purpose
Student Support Services is a project designed to help students maximize their academic potential and achieve their academic and personal goals. Our program provides the encouragement, information, and positive support that make our offices a “home away from home” for our students.
The project is funded by the United States Department of Education under the Title IV Higher Education Act of 1965 and serves 300 first generation and income eligible students at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. By providing key services, SSS aims to promote the retention and graduation of the students it serves.
Mission Statment
The mission of Student Support Services (SSS) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is to empower 300 qualifying students to articulate and achieve their own personal, educational and career goals by providing services, resources and support that promote retention and graduation. SSS will encourage continued personal development, personal responsibility and lifelong learning.
