Summer Mathematics and Reading
Talent Scholars (SMARTS) Program

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh SMARTS Program provides instruction and other activities to help students improve their skills in mathematic and reading. During the 2009-2010 school year, tutoring in mathematics and reading and access to computer laboratories are available to SMARTS students after school and on Saturdays, at UW-Milwaukee.
Orientation meetings and workshops also are scheduled throughout the school year for parents, teachers and students at UW-Milwaukee.
Areas of Study: mathematics, reading, self-esteem and study skills.
Only students attending the following Milwaukee Public Schools are eligible for the SMARTS program: Audubon Technology & Communication, Fritsche, Lincoln Center of the Arts, and Roosevelt Creative Arts.
