Talent Scholars (SMARTS) Program

smartsThe University of Wisconsin Oshkosh SMARTS Program provides instruction and other activities to help students improve their skills in mathematic and reading.  During the 2009-2010 school year, tutoring in mathematics and reading and access to computer laboratories are available to SMARTS students after school and on Saturdays, at UW-Milwaukee.

 

Orientation meetings and workshops also are scheduled throughout the school year for parents, teachers and students at UW-Milwaukee.

 

Areas of Study: mathematics, reading, self-esteem and study skills.

 

Only students attending the following Milwaukee Public Schools are eligible for the SMARTS program: Audubon Technology & Communication, Fritsche, Lincoln Center of the Arts, and Roosevelt Creative Arts.
