Young Entrepreneurs Society -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joining is very fast and easy, please follow the link to our Join page. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can I be in two clubs at once? Yes, in fact we encourage you to join as many clubs as you like on campus as it helps you develop a broader education and experience base. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do I have to be a Business Major? No! All students are welcome, however you'll find most of the members of YES are in the College of Business Administration or plan to enter it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What day/time does YES meet? Where? Currently we meet on alternating Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in Clow 227. Meeting times are changed each semester so that we can accommodate as many students as possible. You can always find out when our next meeting will be by checking the YES Schedule. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meetings generally last 45 minutes to an hour. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Can I still be in YES even if I can't attend meetings? Yes, we realize your schedule might conflict with our meeting times. You can just attend whatever meetings you are able to. However, it is expected that if you don't have schedule conflicts that you will be at each meeting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do I have to attend UW Oshkosh to be a member of YES? Yes, in order to be in the club you must currently attend UW Oshkosh as either a part-time or full-time student. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've heard that you have to pay to be in YES, is this true? Yes, however, almost all clubs charge dues and also these dues are usually much higher than what the YES club charges. YES dues are only $20 each semester you join or $35 for the entire year. Dues charged go towards socials, projects, PR, and other functions of YES. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How much time would YES require of me? One of the strengths of YES is that it is member driven in that the more time that you are willing to put into the club, the more you get out of it. You can participate as little as just attending the weekly meetings all the way up to working on various chairing committees, being an executive within YES, or also through attending YES socials and fundraisers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YES is a great and easy way to get involved on campus! It provides links to community businesses as well as to some of the largest corporations in the America. You have the ability to network with people all over the business community as well as with people at the national CEO conference, and of course with other YES members. YES also looks great on a resume! Most importantly, all members are there to have a good time whether it be going out to dinner with a speaker, or going to one of our YES socials.
