• Single mother
• Enrolled full time as undergraduate
• Successfully completed at least 45 credits at time of application
• Will be required to submit a written narrative explaining her need for and anticipated use of funds

• Be an Institute of Management Accountant member who is pursuing study in accounting or finance

• Senior who has completed 90 credit hours as of the submission date of the application of which the last 30 were earned at UW Oshkosh

• Full time student who has already earned 30-89 credits by time of filling out scholarship application

• Have minimum GPA of 2.5
• Demonstrate academic achievement and include facts of this in statement on application

• Be a HIAS-assisted immigrant and refugee who came to the United States after January 1, 1992
• Have completed at least 2 consecutive semesters of study at a U.S. high school, undergraduate or graduate school at the time of application
• Be a current college student or plans to attend in the fall of 2009

Thomas B.and Grace Stevenson Jones

• Student from Grant, Iowa or Lafayette County
• Enrolled full time in university
• Undergraduate student

• Be an active, communicant member of a Lutheran congregation
• Have a career objective in the field of developmental disabilities
• Sophomore or junior status at university

• Required to submit an essay (250-300 words) on the career he/she is planning in the field of developmental disabilities

• AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship--a joint program with Accountemps, awarding five $2,500 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or information systems
• John L. Carey Scholarship--$5,000 scholarships for a minimum of 10 liberal arts or other non-busines related degree holders preparing to enter a graduate accounting program
• AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students--financial awards of up to $5,00 for undergraduate and graduate minority accounting students
• AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral students--up to $12,000 for nearly 20 full time minority doctoral students to increase the number of accounting educators who are also CPA's
